A Pandemic of Opportunity

Talking with a prospective client this morning made me frame some of the thoughts I've been ruminating on during the pandemic.

Here's what I believe we'll learn during COVID_19 and need to elevate in the time following as brands try to resurface or recreate themselves:

1. Your values are everything. Customers want to know what you stand for and why.

2. The best way to communicate your values is through storytelling and strong customer-centric content marketing. Story is inherently human, it allows us to connect on a deeper level.

3. Creating a meaningful relationship with your customers and inspiring an emotive response from your marketing is paramount. This emotional intelligence builds deeper relationships, trust and loyalty.

4. Getting your tour tone of voice and copywriting on point is vital for creating a connection between your company and your audience. The human element matters.

5. Pivoting your marketing strategy during and after this period is essential. It should focus on and align with your values - the why for the customer. Be of service.

To me, this time feels like a natural opportunity for weeding out the brands trying to make a quick buck. from those doing good, meaningful work. Using effective content marketing to tell your story has and will continue to be, one of your most important assets.
