All in Snow
Waking up at the crack of dawn, piercing pink light shines through the glass doors of the hut and we peek outside. The light is unreal and we're soon up, dressed and outside to marvel at the beauty of the sunrise. We'd never been up there before, and seeing the Pisa's for the first time by sunrise was a pretty awe-inspiring moment...
Before I knew it I was clambering up a famous ridge, nicknamed by locals as the Pepsi Max, with skis on back, crampons on feet and a 12 strong group of men. Tethered together as we careful teetered on the ridge with significant drops either side, I was definitely awake now!
Known as the adventure capital of the world, Chamonix Mont-Blanc has some of the single most impressive scenery on the planet. I went with Mountain Mavericks and The Reason snowboard mag for an epic mission through Chamonix's backcountry on a content trip last winter with photographer Sam Ingles.
Wednesday the 18th January saw the girls of Morzine descend on Chapelle Park! Organised by myself through Mountain Mavericks, Onyx Snowboard School instructor Laura Berry and Planks Clothing's Sophie Offord, the Girls Shred Day saw a huge 60-70 girls turn up to the park for some coaching and an informal jam session.

Today I went on my first ever touring day with Small Planet Queenstown, and couldn’t be more amped! I’ve been waiting for an opportunity to try out touring for a while now, after first playing with the idea on my last European winter season and not quite having the gumption to make it happen.
