Mizu Life X JONO WOOD

Mizu Life X JONO WOOD

Spending so much time outdoors, it’s hard not to feel a sense of responsibility for our environment. When we’re out hiking, biking, skiing or climbing in our natural playgrounds day in day out, we notice changes — the turn of the leaves, the cool evening breeze, the buds of spring, a storm forming nearby. However, we also notice negative changes too, knowing that individually and collectively, we’re having an undeniable impact on our wild spaces.

Being conscious of our impact on the natural world isn’t an opt-in or out process anymore, the climate crisis is here and it won’t be solved overnight. We each have the ability to choose how and where we spend our money to minimise our impact. Mizu is just one of many brands offering us a way out of destructive patterns of consumerism, asking us to say no to single-use plastic and to keep our playgrounds clean for generations to come.

Last week we shot my friend, and artist, Jono Wood’s Mizu Life graphic collection in Morzine, France. Thanks to Sam Ingles for the images and to Mizu for continuing to support local artists. Check out the collection here.
