Occasionally, it’s ok to pinch yourself and then give yourself a pat on the back. If you’d told me 5, heck even 2 years ago, that I’d be published in a National Geographic print magazine—even a sister title—I would’ve laughed. But today I’m proud of where my writing is, using sports and the environment to communicate topics that inspire and inform people to get outdoors and protect the places they love.
